Position Overview

We are seeking energetic, charismatic, and experienced Games Event Hosts to join our team for the upcoming holiday season. We are looking to hire immediately and train new hosts over the coming months so they're prepared for the holiday rush.

The Games Event Host will be responsible for facilitating various games oriented events including trivia, escape rooms, lego building, and other team-building activities, ensuring each event is memorable, fun, and meaningful.

Events are primarily delivered virtually, but we also currently deliver events in person in the NYC area and are looking for hosts who are willing to travel to client venues in the NYC area to deliver in person experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate a range of virtual or in person group events such as trivia nights, escape rooms, and other team-building activities.
  • Engage participants in an energetic and interactive manner.
  • Prepare necessary materials and equipment for each event.
  • Collaborate with the planning team to customize events according to client needs.
  • Ensure all events run smoothly and punctually.
  • Provide post-event reports and feedback for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in entertainment, comedy, improv, acting, or performing arts.
  • Exceptional communication and public speaking skills.
  • Comfortable leading groups of varying sizes.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience & comfort using various web conferencing software such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet.
  • Ability to adapt and improvise on the spot.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and professional.
  • A passion for fun, games, and creating memorable experiences for others!

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hosting public or private events.
  • Knowledge of basic audio-visual equipment set-up.
  • Any semi-professional or professional experience in fine arts or cooking.
  • Reside in Manhattan or Brooklyn NY and willing to commute for in person events.
